Live Bootcamp Training
ThreatLocker® provides a biweekly Bootcamp led by our Cyber Heroes® through ThreatLocker University. The bootcamp is scheduled for one week. It includes five daily lessons, each lasting approximately 1 hour, with an additional 30 minutes allotted for questions and answers. At the end of the bootcamp, learners have access to all the session recordings for review. These bootcamps are meant to prepare you for the content on the Cyber Hero Exam as well as ensure that you are confident in managing the ThreatLocker® tool suite in your own environment. The Cyber Hero Certification Learning Plan
‍Once you have created a ThreatLocker University account, you will have access to the Cyber Hero Certification Learning Plan. This learning plan is designed to walk you through every aspect of all ThreatLocker® tools. It will prepare you to successfully implement ThreatLocker® into your security stack. Not only does it give you a very thorough breakdown of ThreatLocker® products and processes, but it also contains many practice questions that will help prepare you for the exam. You will get the chance to test your knowledge and give yourself an idea of how the questions will be written on the actual exam.

Rules and Guidelines for Completing the Certified Cyber Hero Exam

Before you sit for this exam, please be aware of the following guidelines:‍

The exam is 50 questions and you will have 60 minutes to complete it. At the end of the 60 minutes, the exam will end and any unanswered questions will be marked incorrect.
You must receive a score of 80% or better to become certified.
You need to use the same email address to log into the exam as the address in ThreatLocker University.
The exam is proctored, so you will be monitored by an AI proctor and recorded for live review.
You need to take the exam on a computer; mobile devices are not supported.
The exam must be taken using the latest version of Chrome, Safari, or Firefox.
You must give the browser access to your webcam and microphone; your screen will be recorded.
You must turn off extra monitors. (Only a single monitor can be used for testing!)
Once you begin, you can't leave the view of your webcam.
Don't look away from the screen for more than a second or two or you may receive a warning.
Refrain from using your cell phone during the test. The system will issue a warning.
No other people can be in the room with you while you are testing. If another person comes into view or is heard, the system will issue a warning.
Once you begin the exam, you must not click out of the exam window. Leaving the exam window is a violation and the system will issue a warning.
You can only get 6 warnings. After you reach this threshold, you will not be able to continue your exam.

For those who have gone through the Cyber Hero Certification Learning Plan and feel confident about sitting the exam, reach out to your Account Manager. They will send you the necessary instructions and a link to access your exam.

Is There a Cost for Sitting the Exam?

ThreatLocker® provides two free attempts to sit the Cyber Hero Exam. The third attempt requires a fee of $100USD.

After Passing the Exam, What Are the Next Steps?

For those of you who successfully pass the Cyber Hero Certification Exam, congratulations! You can expect to receive your virtual certificate through ThreatLocker University within 48 business hours.

For How Long Is the Certfication Valid?

The certification is valid for one year from the date you pass the exam.

If I Don't Pass the Exam on the First Try, Can I Retake It?

If your first attempt is unsuccessful, your Account Manager will provide you with your exam feedback and there will be a 30-day waiting period for you to continue growing your knowledge with a Live Bootcamp Training.
