What is a WiFi Pineapple?

A WiFi Pineapple is a penetration testing tool developed by Hak5 for businesses to conduct security assessments, either internally or with an outsourced team of ethical hackers.

WiFi Pineapples are capable of phishing for credential theft. These devices can impersonate a wireless network and, with the “Evil Portal" and replicate the login pages of trusted accounts like Google, Microsoft 365, Facebook, and Amazon, to steal credentials.
