ThreatLocker Update March 4th 2019
ThreatLocker is pleased to announce the following updates. Updates will be automatically downloaded and will apply next time you restart your computer.
Parent Organizations can now create applications that are visible to all sub-organizations
Manged Service Providers and other organizational structures that have have sub-organizations can now create new application definitions that are “Public” or their child organizations. To create an application that is visible for child organizations, simply append the name of the application with (Public). The application will now be visible to all children organizations.
Added the ability to automatically populate applications that access UNCs when creating storage policies.
When creating storage policies to permit specific applications to access your file server, you can now auto-populate the applications list based on information in the storage audit.
Added the ability to specify a path to your own logo and brand name when editing an organization in the portal.
Previously you could change the logo in the system tray by using a registry key. You can now configure the logo that is displayed to your users from the Edit Organization page. The logo should be 100x100 pixels and must be posted on a publicly accessible website.
Improved CSS show the red message bar that is displayed, no longer overlaps controls on the page.
Changed the system tray so blocked applications are now displayed as a windows notification. When clicking on the notification it will display the ThreatLocker portal.
The following fixes have been applied.
Fixed issue where a user is created from the invite link, even if the password and confirmation password do not match.
Fixed issue where exports from the storage audit do not apply the path search.
How to get the latest update
Updates will automatically be deployed when a computer is restarted. If you do not wish to restart your computer you can run the follow script to download the update immediately.
Note: Make sure your download the latest MSI for future deployments.
