How to add a storage device?
There are multiple ways of adding a storage device.
Add a storage device from the Audit page:
- Select the add storage icon;
- Fill in Device name*;
- Fill in optional fields Manufacturer** and Owner**; and
- Select the Save button to finish adding the storage device.
Add a storage device from Storage Devices page:
- Select New Device button;
- Fill in Device name*;
- Fill in Serial number*;
- Fill in optional fields Manufacturer** and Owner**; and
- Select the Save button to finish adding the storage device.

How to edit a storage device?
- Select the edit button (pencil);
- Make your changes; and
- Select Save.
How to delete a storage device?
- Select the delete button (trash); and
- Confirm deletion.
How to search for a storage device?
If you need to find a storage device:
- Enter your storage device name or a keyword; and
- Hit the Enter key or click the Search button.

TIP: Make sure you have the deny policies set to run after permit policies, so you can make exceptions.
TIP: If you don’t need to audit policy, you can choose not to record the policy.
TIP: When allowing a user to request permission when blocked, you can choose to notify administrators or not.
TIP: You can drag and drop to sort the existing policies.
SAMPLE:
Steps to create a default policy for blocking any USB devices:
- Create a default policy under the group;
- Choose the Deny action for the policy;
- Make sure it affects all users and groups;
- Make sure it affects only interface type of USB; and
- Set it to run after permit policies.
