ThreatLocker Announces Relocation and U.S. Expansion with New Corporate Headquarters in Orlando

New Location Positions Cybersecurity Startup for Company Growth, Product Development, and Cybersecurity Support Efforts

Orlando, FL, August 16, 2021 – ThreatLocker, the cybersecurity firm protecting endpoints with enterprise-level tools for Managed Service Providers (MSPs), today announced that the company has opened a new office for its corporate headquarters and business operations in Orlando to deliver zero trust policy-driven security and endpoint protection to businesses through MSPs across the North American region.

There has been a dramatic rise in attacks on small businesses in Central Florida, most recently as a result of the Kaseya breach. ThreatLocker has observed that as a result of these implications, companies are increasingly seeking ways to protect their organizations against such zero-day attacks.

ThreatLocker, which is based in Orlando, Florida, is already operating in the United States, Europe, and the United Kingdom, most recently opening the company’s European headquarters in Ireland at the beginning of this year. With the relocation of their headquarters and operations, Orlando will become ThreatLocker’s main office in the U.S. to provide its Application Whitelisting, Ringfencing™, and Data Storage Control solutions.

“Relocating our headquarters to Orlando is an incredible milestone that not only signals rapid growth but also our commitment to providing the only true zero trust endpoint security technology on the market to our global customers,” said Danny Jenkins, CEO and Co-Founder of ThreatLocker. “We’re excited to strengthen our national presence and join Orlando’s emerging technology and cybersecurity ecosystem.”

The Orlando-based headquarters location positions ThreatLocker to better support its continuous, rapid development as the company plans to hire employees to fill marketing, product, and sales positions in its new office, expanding its offerings in North America and the U.S. market. Long-term, ThreatLocker will establish local support functions as needed with the plan to grow from about 50 employees to more than double in the coming months.

Over the next year, ThreatLocker plans to employ 200 people between NORAM and EMEA to add to its current global workforce, projecting the company to quadruple its workforce year to year. The company will also ramp up recruiting by leveraging local universities in Central Florida to find top-tier cybersecurity talent.

Looking forward, ThreatLocker will continue future efforts towards expanding its global footprint and product R&D with a focus on growing its engineering workforce. The new office opening comes on the heels of ThreatLocker’s funding round just two months ago as the cybersecurity company got $20 million in a round led by Boston-based Elephant.
